    Secret Identities: Volume 2 Shattered

    The second volume of the original Secret Identities graphic novel is in the works and it is looking for comic artists and illustrators to contribute to its targetted 2012 publication date. Secret Identities Volume 2: Shattered is looking for "stories that showcase strong and vivid interactions between heroes and villains — even stories with the 'villain' as protagonist — as a way to question the power of perception to shape reality. We’re also looking to incorporate a broader range of comic genres — superheroes, and more.."

    When you were growing up, did you read a lot of comic books? As a youngster were you interested in writing stories and drawing? How did you get started with writing graphic novels?
    I started reading comics in the fifth grade. I've been reading ever since, except for a short break in junior high. A popular friend of mine told me to give up comics so I could get a girlfriend, so I did. Once I realized that reading comics wasn't the reason I couldn't get a girlfriend (it had more to do with my Asian Urkel looks), I started collecting again.

    I started drawing comics as an adult right after I graduated college. At that point, I thought to myself, "If I don't publish at least one comic before I die, I will die unfulfilled!" I've been making
